Leading the team is Alison & Andrew Scahill. After moving to the Kingston area in 2012, they fell in love with the area and its vibrant and growing food community, and wanted to bring their brand of food and beverage to our local community.
Alison was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She moved to Alberta in 2001, and fell in love with the mountain community of Canmore, Alberta, where she stayed for 5 years, before moving to Banff, Alberta in 2006. Living in such a beautiful area of the world, Alison's passion for food and beverage thrived. Her career has seen her work in just about every restaurant position, but it was her passion for cooking that lead her and her husband to Kingston to attend culinary school at Liaison College. There she honed her skill and passion for creating amazing new and traditional items. Alison is so excited to bring her flair for food to our community.
Andrew was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario, but don't hold that against him:), After attending Western and Ryerson Universities, Andrew moved to Banff, Alberta in 1997. He instantly fell in love with the tourist town. He thrived in the high pace environment of a global tourist town, and his career in the food and beverage industry grew. From working in numerous restaurants, he learned every facet of the industry, where he grew into the key role of a Food and Beverage manager for a large, Banff based travel company. He has been in the key management roles of numerous spots in both Banff and Kingston, and brings over 20 years experience to the team.
The mountains weren't the only thing that Alison and Andrew fell in love with. They met in 2004, and they fell in love with each other. They got married in Banff in 2010. Their passion for food and beverage has taken them to numerous places across the globe, and it is that passion that has led them to launch their own venture, here in Kingston, Ontario. A moment doesn't go by in the day, that they aren't thinking of creative new menu items, sipping on a glass of wine or beer, or just enjoying each others company!
Joining our team, is Mitch Leger. Mitch was born and raised in Kingston, and attended Queen's University where he played varsity basketball. After school, his talents led him to Germany to play professionally. Upon returning to Kingston, Mitch fell in love with the food and beverage industry, and continued to pursue a career in the industry. He has worked in all facets of a restaurant setting, including venues in Toronto and Kingston. He brings over 10 years of experience to our team.
We couldn't be more pleased to bring our concepts and vision to an already incredible restaurant scene here in Kingston, Ontario!
